Marlins sign top pick Skipworth

Skipworth, who was selected sixth overall, will report to the Marlins Gulf Coast League affiliate in Jupiter, Florida. The 6-foot-3, 195 pound lefty from Patriot High School (Riverside, California) is expected to see his first professional action on Friday.
